Anigozanthos x hybrid ‘Yellow Gem’ – kangaroo paw
APPEARANCE:  Aussie Native with arching strappy leaves and bright yellow paw-like flowers held above the foliage. Red stems. Kangaroo paws are evergreen native plants with “paw”shaped flowers from spring to summer.
USES:   As a feature in pots or as a massed display in your garden. The flowers are bird attracting and can be used as an indoor cut flower arrangement.
PLANTING: Kangaroo paws like a well drained and somewhat drier conditions. Plant in light free-draining soil in a full sun frost-free location with plenty of air.  
CARE: Prune old flowers and dead foliage regularly and this plant will reward your efforts.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 1.5 m x 1 m.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as ‘plugs’, slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
