Our single flowered dwarf ornamental pomegranate is hugely popular so we know this tree-sized one is going to be a hit with you! The flowers are vivid orange with masses of petals for lots of colour impact through the flowering season.

Punica granatum Double Orange – ornamental pomegranate
APPEARANCE : Ornamental, deciduous pomegranate with vibrant double orange blooms in late summer, glossy leaves larger than the dwarf form. New foliage is coloured orange.
USE FOR : Hedging, feature planting, large container planting.
LOCATION: Prefers full sun for maximum flowering though will grow in dappled or part shade. Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter. Drought tolerant once established and tolerant of coastal conditions.
CARE : Mulch and water well until established and during dry spells. Prune late winter or early spring to encourage flowering the following season.
